The 28th annual Cypress Community Festival was held at Oak Knoll Park on Saturday, July 26, 2008. Cypress Church, the Patriots Ministry and the Truth Project had adjoining information booths. This is the largest one day festival in Orange County and is considered the "signature" event for the city of Cypress. Below is a slide show from the 2008 Festival:
The Festival has been a Cypress tradition for many years. The day included a pancake breakfast put on by the Kiwanis Club in the morning and free entertainment all day. There was also a chili cookoff, food, fun, games and shopping.

This year the Cypress Church Band played in the afternoon on the main stage. Worship Leader Steven Brooks led the group in an upbeat, inspirational set. The band played a mix of contemporary Christian rock with a fusion of jazz and pop including the songs "I Can Only Imagine," "Who Am I," and "All Of Me."
The Cypress Church information booth distributed about 1,100 free bottles of water, plus Bibles, and "Daily Bread" pamphlets to the community.
Cypress Church is located at 6143 Ball Road just east of Valley View. Sunday Worship Services are at 8:45 am and 10:30 am. You will find inspirational Bible teaching, praise and worship music and a welcoming atmosphere.
Children's Director Devonna Drey and Youth Pastor Danny Kugleberg have activities available for young people of all ages.
